The VALCO Trust Fund, operating under Ghana’s Ministry of Energy and Green Transitions, was established to support education and charitable initiatives in Ghana. It was born out of an agreement between VALCO Aluminium Company Ltd. and President Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. The fund is sustained through annual contributions from VALCO’s earnings.

Afraso D/A Kindergarten
The newly improved and transformed Afraso D/A Kindergarten, supported by the Valco Trust Fund, now features a modern, child-friendly learning environment. The upgraded facility includes well-ventilated classrooms, age-appropriate furniture, a safe play area, and clean sanitation facilities — all designed to enhance early childhood education and foster academic growth in a secure and engaging atmosphere.
Akrofufu R/C JHS
The upgraded Akrofufu R/C JHS, revitalized through the support of the Valco Trust Fund, now boasts enhanced infrastructure including well-furnished classrooms, improved roofing, modern teaching aids, and better sanitation facilities. This transformation provides a more conducive environment for learning and teaching, promoting academic excellence and student well-being.
Abenaso Presby Kindegarten
The refurbished Abenaso Presby KG, made possible by the Valco Trust Fund, now offers a safe, vibrant, and stimulating environment for early learners. With improved classrooms, child-sized furniture, clean water and sanitation facilities, the upgraded school supports foundational education in a nurturing and child-centered space.
Mahiniso SDA Kindergarten
The transformed Mahiniso SDA Kindergarten, supported by the Valco Trust Fund, now features modern, child-friendly classrooms, safe play areas, and improved sanitation facilities. This renovation provides a solid foundation for early childhood education, ensuring a secure and engaging learning environment for young children in the community.
Odumasi Presby Kindergarten
The renovated Odumasi Presby KG, with support from the Valco Trust Fund, now provides a bright and welcoming learning environment for young children. The improved facility includes well-structured classrooms, age-appropriate furniture, and essential sanitation amenities, creating a nurturing space that promotes effective early childhood development.
Wawasi M/A Kindergarten,
The upgraded Wawasi M/A Kindergarten, supported by the Valco Trust Fund, now offers a safe and stimulating environment for early learners. The improved facility includes well-ventilated classrooms, child-friendly furniture, and proper sanitation, fostering a solid foundation for quality early childhood education in the community.
