Supporting Life-Saving Surgery for a Brave Young Girl

The VALCO Trust Fund remains committed to advancing health and wellbeing by supporting individuals in critical need. In line with our objectives, we extended financial assistance of $5,000 to Nayasa Maame Afia Appeadu Malcom, a courageous 12-year-old born in 2014 with Truncus Arteriosus, a rare congenital heart defect.
Nayasa has already undergone two open-heart surgeries and is currently scheduled for another procedure at the Amrita Institute of Medical Science in Kochi, India. This support is aimed at easing the financial burden on her family and ensuring she receives the specialized care required.
Through interventions like this, the Fund demonstrates its unwavering commitment to healthcare support, community welfare, and staff empowerment, reinforcing our mission to
make a tangible difference in the lives of Ghanaians.
